Barquillero LXIV x Escrivana MA Foaled April 23, 2012 Grey, Andalusian Mare 16.1 hands IALHA registered 19605(S) and ANCCE Inscribed $15,000
Bravata's pedigree contains Bocado, Romero Benitez, Yeguada Militar and Lovera bloodlines. Some of her Great Great Grand Sire's on her dam's side include Genio III and Leviton. We chose her sire, Barquillero, because he is one of the most kind and willing stallions we have had the pleasure of training and showing. His substance and movement is very typical to a PRE. We picked Escrivana because she is a very tall and unmistakably Spanish mare. Bravata got the best of both parents, as she has matured to a great size, has nice movement, is very spanish looking, and has an amazingly smart and kind personality like her sire.
Bravata is looking for a new home. She rides and drives, has been sparingly on trails, and I think she would make beautiful babies though she has never been bred. (I personally am not wanting to breed). She is a doll to be around. She is very forward and sensitive under saddle, and would need a confident rider. Her mane is currently roached but if you like hair she has a TON OF IT, and it will grow back fast. She turned 9 years old in April, and stands at 16.1 hands. She would make a great lower level dressage horse, or breed rail class horse.
She injured her right rear pastern late winter of 2021. She is now sound and back to normal work. However, there is the potential that she could not hold up to upper level dressage or working equitation work that would demand a lot of carrying power out of the hind end. This is the main reason I am selling her, as I am wanting a horse that I can take up the levels in working eq. It is a tough decision, but we can only own so many horses.
