Come out and see us compete at the No Frills-Double State Points Show, put on by the Utah Paint Horse Club. We will be there with Johnnie and her beautiful Paint Horse mare, Sienna, competing in the Hunt Seat class! It will be held at the Salt Lake County Equestrian Park in South Jordan, UT July 31 - Aug 1, 2010.

We had a wonderful time at the Wasatch Back Dressage Festival this weekend. It was a great show put on by The Collectives. Thank goodness for an air conditioned facility, cause boy was it hot! Erica and Lativo are now qualified to ride dressage at the IALHA National show as well! Thanks to all our friends who came out to cheer them on and thanks to Kim and Meagan for getting us there.

We would like to welcome our newest client, Loraine, and her horse Orion. Orion is a half-Lusitano/quarter horse arabian cross, bay, gelding. He comes to us for a short time to get the basics started. He is a very athletic and smart boy! He should make a wonderful mount for Loraine.

Our first show of the year was a blast! We attended the Utah Dressage Society Shows I and II, June 25 & 26. Two days, two shows, in front of two judges. What a fun way to show dressage. And what a fun group of people! We were very proud of Lativo of Silverstar Ranch. For his first performance show, he handled himself very well. He and Howard were able to score 60s both days, thus qualifying them to ride in the Dressage tests at the IALHA National Show. Thank you to all the people who came out to watch us, and thank you to the Utah Dressage Society for putting on a great show!

We are excited to get to know the newest horse to come to Peet Equestrian, Felipe! He is a three-year-old, dark bay, Andalusian stallion, from Silverstar Ranch. We will be getting him broke and look forward to seeing what he is ment to do. We would also like to say goodbye to Sebastian. He has been a blast to play with and we know that Celia will have a blast with him too.

We would love to welcome our first PAINT horse, Sienna and her fabulous owner, Johnnie! They come to us to prepare for a Hunter Under Saddle class at the Paint Horse show in July. We look forward to diving into the "Paint side of life".

Congrats to Nancy and her daughter Hanna! After some searching, we helped them to find a new horse that Hanna can be a Rodeo Queen with. Welcome to them and their new Quarter horse, Chromes Cowboy! What a pretty boy, a chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail.

Our first trip to Wyoming was a wonderful success! We accomplished our goals with Celia and Allen, owners of Silver Star Ranch, and had a great time giving lessons to all who wanted to learn. There was quite the group- from reiners to dressage horses, minis to draft crosses, riding and driving- we about did it all! Thank you to all that participated! We loved getting to know you and your horses! Seeing as it went so well, we have been asked to return, which we plan on doing. We will come up with a date and give better advance warning for it next time. If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, feel free to contact us!

Had a fabulous time at the Utah Horse Expo! Ladino drove beautifully in the meadowbrook and Lativo showed off as a dressage horse! It was so good to get the word out about the Andalusian horse and Silverstar Ranch. We loved meeting more andalusian owners and encouraged them to get involved!.
